Gender	Female
Introduction	I am a full time mom, full time employee, full time friend. I hold those that are dear to me, close to me. I treasure the friendships that I have made online, and the friend that has been by my side for over 30 years. I love my family dearly, protect my boys, kiss on my husband daily, deal with everyday issues like the rest of us. I am a real person and I blog about my real life experiences. Everything that I blog about is real and does happen. Life is too short to not be true to yourself and to others.
Interests	Oh my, well, let's start from the beginning. I started crocheting when I was 9, and I continue to do it this day. I started to cook after I got married, funny story there that I should blog about. I started sewing when we moved to our house and met the neighbor that has been sewing since she was 11, nearly 50 years ago. I started quilting since I met that same neighbor. I started taking pictures of the world around me, not just the family, when I met Johanna, and amazing photographer. I started reading a wider variety of books when I met Elaine, an amazing reviewer of books, one cool librarian. I started blogging when I went on vacation last year, I never thought much of it, until I got addicted to it. I started a garden this past year, my very own garden, along with my boys and my dad. I started canning veggies and fruit last year when I realized that is better for us as a family, and it gives something else for my dad and I compare notes. And politics, something I just got really interested in. I started loving life so much more when I got out from behind a desk and got to experience that there is more to life than sitting like a lump. Those are my interests, Interesting isn't it
Favorite Movies	Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Robin Hood, Twister, Independance Day, I am Legend, Cape Fear. I love thinking movies. But I love the old stuff, more substance than in the things shown today. Of course with the boys there are always the "kids" movies too. Monsters Inc is one of my favorites, Shrek 1 and 2. Pirates of the Caribbean, all 3 of them.
Favorite Music	All kinds of music. If it has a beat, it is fine with me. Mostly old country. Patsy Cline is my very favorite.
Favorite Books	I have such a list, I don't know where to begin. I love anything that is food for my brain. Toni Morrison, Song of Solomon, CS Lewis, Narnia Series, Francine Rivers, Redeeming Love, The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox, The Pilot's Wife, Light on Snow, and the ever popular, Winnie the Pooh.
