Introduction | My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 9, and I taught myself to spin and crochet ten years later. Now, I cross stitch and garden and bake and cook and do all kinds of things. I like to make and create. I love turning string and sticks, a lump of dirt, some beads and bits of metal, into a scarf or hat, a vase or figurine, jewelry that can be worn. Sometimes I'm adventurous, sometimes I'm a homebody. I'm definitely more interesting in the summer. |
Interests | Knitting, spinning, crocheting, yarn, books, music, movies, animals. |
Favorite Movies | I have varied tastes. I like horror, comedy, action, documentaries, drama, so on and so forth. As long as it's well written and interesting. |
Favorite Music | I love Steam Powered Giraffe and Breaking Benjamin, but I don't listen to much of anything most of the time. I like quiet or ambient noise more. |
Favorite Books | Harry Potter will always hold a place in my heart, but when asked to give my favorite books as both adult and children's gifts, I have chosen American Gods by Neil Gaiman, and The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. |
