| Introduction | I worked outside the home for over thirty years, was involuntarily retired after losing two jobs to plant closings. Writing a book had crossed my mind, but where to begin had baffled me. Particularly with the labour intensive jobs I'd held, and raising my daughter alone. She has grown up and moved on, is married, and has given me three lovely grandchildren. We live in the country, and the majority of what I write will be what pops into my head on that topic. My husband keeps up on current events, explains certain events, and is a science and history buff. |

| Favorite Books | I have read so many in my life, it would be impossible to remember every single one. I have been an avid book devourer all of my life. When I was a child, the school library, and book mobile, were my friends. It certainly would be cool if I had a list of every one I have ever read. |
