| Interests | Adam Winegar was raised in West Bountiful, Utah. With a passion for the outdoors, this rurally inspired artist admires the beauty of nature through its colors and textures. Growing up, Winegar, never showed much interest in art, but having two older brothers as professional artists, he grew to appreciate and gain a great love for art and an appreciation for the true colors and inspirations from nature. It was not until the last several years that Winegar began pursuing a career as a professional artist. It did not take much for him to get started. His mother and brother got together and had given him a paint set and motivated him to try painting. With a little help it stuck and now it has become one of the best ways for Winegar to express himself through emotions of color and his perspective on what the world has to offer. Through Winegar’s studies, he has realized that nature has a lot to offer. “At every scene in nature there is a moment that can be captured, whether it is in the shadows, highlights, sunset or sunrise there is a time that every person is inspired and amazed by what they are observing. It is that moment that I am trying to capture and express in my art, ” says Winegar. With his two older brothers as painting mentors, Winegar has grown in his artistic pursuits. In addition to private instruction with his family, Winegar has taken art courses which have helped to guide and teach him some of the ins and outs of painting. Watching the fine art world, soaking up artistic knowledge while reading art books, and practicing his art continually have all helped Winegar to focus over the last few years and take on the more serious goal of becoming a full time, professional artist. Winegar looks forward to sharing his deep love for nature with his collectors as he continues to explore the gorgeous landscapes of Utah. |
