| Introduction | Stories have always been a part of my life. Quite a few people in my family are extremely good story tellers. My Great Grandma, Grandma, Father and Brother are all gifted at spinning a yarn. Somehow they are able to weave our life events into intriguing/dramatic/comedic tales. It is a trait I wish I would have developed. Despite my inability I want to remember. Family dinners, when I was a child, were a lively event full of our daily happenings and historic accounts. I want this for my children. I want them to be willing to share their stories. I also want them to experience that warm rush of love when they hear their parent recount a story just about them. BIG is my effort to improve my story-telling abilities, a place to record the history of our family, and an act of love. |
