Michael Barr

About Me

Michael Barr is an expert in the design of real-time embedded software for safety-critical systems, including medical products. He has taught at the University of Maryland, served as an expert witness in numerous cases (including testimony in Federal Court), been interviewed on PBS’ American Business Review, and been quoted in various publications. He is the author of three books and more than forty articles on subjects related to firmware architecture and coding best practices as well as embedded software process improvement.
