| Introduction | My wife Susan and I live in Lake Spivey (Jonesboro), Georgia, which is south of Atlanta, with our 5-year old German Shepherd dog named Max. I work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Hampton, Georgia on the Tech. Ops. (equipment) side of the house. I've been a runner for almost 30-years and did a few triathlons in the early 1990's as well. I stopped racing for several years until late 2009 when I caught the bug again. Now I've completed my first Ironman. What's next? Who knows! Barring any injuries I suppose I'll do another Ironman in a year or so. In the meantime I plan to continue running in foot races any participating in shorter distance triathlons. |
