Introduction Lior Navok (b. 1971) has earned his place as one of the most innovative, fresh and communicative composers of the younger generation. Described by the Boston Globe as "colorful, haunting, accomplished and exciting", Navok's music is regularly performed by orchestras and ensembles such as the Radio Philharmonie Hannover NDR, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, The Borromeo String Quartet, Raschèr Saxophone Quartet and internationally known soloists such as Sharon Kam. Mr. Navok received numerous awards. Recent ones include the Lili Boulanger Memorial Fund Award, Prime Minster Award, Massachusetts Cultural Council, and America-Israel Cultural Foundation. Fellowships include the Tanglewood Music Center, Cité Internationale des Arts, Aspen Music Festival and the MacDowell Colony. Recent commissions include the Koussevitzky Music Foundation, Fromm Music Foundation, Jerome Foundation. Lior Navok has released two highly acclaimed CDs - Hidden Reflections and Meditations Over Shore - "The Music is dreamy and utterly gorgeous" (American Record Guide.)
