Introduction	Even as a child, art has always been an interest of mine. After we bought a house in Hawaii belonging to a professional artist, I began painting on a regular basis back in the late 1980's.When we moved back to the mainland, I branched out and studied other mediums. It seems that my favorite is now basically woking in oils. Because of the close proximity of the Fredericksburg Artists School, I have been fortunate to have participated in many workshops conducted by several well known and accomplished artists. Peggy Kroll Roberts, Gregg Kreutz, Carolyn Anderson, William Schneider, Jean Chambers and David Leffel were inspirational and very giving instructors. Being a painter is an ongoing life time journey of discovery..and means lots and lots of practice! One never stops learning or trying to improve one's craft and technique....
Interests	Mostly painting, cooking, reading mysteries, art magazines, water aerobics classes, listening to music, teaching private art lessons in my studio, finding new restaurants to enjoy ..

Favorite Books	I devour mysteries mostly as well as art magazines.
