| Introduction | In February 2008 I moved with my family from California, U.S.A. to Loja, Ecuador. So happens this isn't my first time in this part of the world. Back in the early 1990s I lived here as a Peace Corps volunteer. At that time I picked up some Spanish language skills and a husband. After 12 years in the States we decided to return to Loja, with our young daughter, to see what life has to offer us here. |
