V. Bridges-Hoyt

About Me

Award-winning and published artist Vernita Bridges Hoyt paints with oils, watercolor and pastel. Her work has been described as Impressionist with a Texas twist. She paints daily with a passion to give back a little of what has been given her. Through her portraits of children and pets, V. Bridges Hoyt supports cancer research and animal rescue organizations. Vernita is a co-founder of Art Helping Animals and has exhibited at Davinci's Gallery and Texas Sauce Studio Gallery. Currently, her paintings are available through online venues such as Art Helping Animals, Daily Painters Art Gallery, Daily Painters of Texas and at her website www.vbridgeshoyt.com/ "Born to be an artist, I find my joy in the process. A 5th generation native Texan, I am deeply entwined in the land and lore, and as I paint the sauce of Texas (animals, flowers, people and places), my paintings create a collage of my life. I design... I draw... and I paint." V. Bridges Hoyt, B.Arch, a Texas Daily Painter and Contemporary Impressionist
