|Introduction||I work mostly with things I grow or collect, but also enjoy using recycled materials. Natural fiber basketry and carving hard-shelled gourds are my specialties. I love creating art from scratch-- from the ground up, exploring the possibilities that plants provide. Many hours are spent responsibly collecting and preparing naturals before they are made into art. In fact, I love using gathered naturals so much that I started a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the use of gathered natural fibers in basketry and art. I also make stoneware pendants and other small clay objects. Drawing, painting, stained glass, silkscreen and landscape design were all done in past lives. I'm founder and proud member of the Etsy Treasury Team. I'm founder of the Etsy Treasury Team.|

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
Because blood has a metallic taste, not that I have sucked on any pennies lately.
