| Introduction | Masonville, our first book, was followed by Kings Rapids, and then, last year, Carpentier Falls. We are now working on Centralia, the fourth book in the Kurt Maxxon Series. Kurt Maxxon races "Nikki," a lovely little Ford Taurus, in the Swift River Valley Stockcar Racing Association. He becomes an amateur sleuth after finding a second dead body in Kings Rapids (the first was Masonville). Each of the mysteries in the series features Kurt, and the myriad of characters he meets and befriends. Kurt likes to race cars, eat good food, and live a wonderful life. So does Jim... his creator, and so do I. |
