| Introduction | A year ago my husband was offered an amazing job and we moved out of the snowy north into our dream home in the warm south and we restarted our life with our two beautiful daughters. But despite the fact that we have "arrived" we have everything we thought we always wanted....we are miserable. Not long ago my grandfather passed away and my world turned inside out. Suddenly it was clear what was truly important, and what was not. We have decided to spend then next two years of his work contract simplify, giving, selling, and preparing to move back home. We need our children to have their grandparents at the table when they blow out their birthday candles. We need to fight about who is bringing what side dish to my grandmothers for Christmas. This beautiful home we live in matters not if it it is empty and sullen. It is time to find a new dream. |
