About Me

I grew up on Long Island (NY), but now live in Northern NJ with my husband and two kids. I've been happily married since 1993. I've worked in retail, advertising, on Wall Street and in the Fashion Industry. It was fun while it lasted, but the family thing has been surprisingly fulfilling. I've attended Hunter College and Montclair State University; however, I keep changing majors, which makes graduation a moving target. In 2007 I had what some might call a crisis of faith. As a recovering Baptist, I call it a return to rational thinking where I sincerely addressed my thoughts on God. Because those who claim to have had religious or God experiences have been unable to convey the essence of it to me, I've had to concede that, until I've had such an experience, I can't say for certain that there is a God. For those of you who can, please don't try to cajole, scare, badger, or convince me of what I can only understand through my own experience.
