About Me

Briefly... I'm a follower of Jesus Christ. People say Christians use Jesus as a crutch. I say He's more like my wheelchair and air supply b/c I've got nothing good to offer outside of what He's done in me and is continuing to do. I'm simply a creature trying to love, follow, learn from, and point others to my Creator. I'll be the first to admit I sin, but I know God's love for me is not based on my ability to not sin, but on what Jesus has already done. By His grace alone do I have hope. I'm also in love with a beautiful woman named Tory who I just recently married. She's so amazing! She's everything I hoped I'd get to be with for the rest of my life. Profession? I feel like God's desire for my life is to be a Student Pastor. There's nothing I've ever enjoyed more or look forward to more. School? I'm working on my masters degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Hobbies? I'm a recovering Halo addict, and not recovering so well. I like running and golf. Aspirations? My dad, Mike Walker, is my hero, and if I end up being half the man he is, then I'm satisfied! That's it in a nutshell.
