About Me
Friends of Nevada Wilderness is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to preserving all qualified Nevada public lands as Wilderness, protecting all present and potential Wilderness from ongoing threats, informing the public on the values of and need for Wilderness, and improving the management and restoration of these public wild lands. At present "Friends" has a staff of 6. We are based in Reno, NV and will soon have a satellite office in Las Vegas. We are funded through private grants and membership dues.
