Introduction I am a journalist who got a double lung transplant - ON MY BIRTHDAY! ....I spent three years travelling through Australia, Asia and the Far East and fell ill in Korea while teaching English from a nasty pneumonia...I was looked after by nuns! The doctors damanged my trachea from ventilating me too long...I have Cystic Fibrosis and the subsequent operations left my lungs dangerously weak. But I am was doing 30 minutes on the exercise bikes and was ready to take on the world. But then I started to get chronic rejection and it doesn't look as if there is any way back..I have a new job as a publicity officer for Halton Council absorbing myself in music, constantly. I have a thing about potatoes and used to like people who keep rats. Dolphins make me sad.
