About Me
I started making pots in 1976, and opened Tom Gray Pottery, full-time, in 1978. Although the first 12 years of my career were spent near Lake Gaston, NC, I have been in Seagrove since 1990. Seagrove has been an ongoing pottery-producing community for close to 250 years now, and I'm very proud to be a part of that ongoing heritage.

- Cooking for my family and friends
- writing
- watching movies
- reading books. I still like to fish
- and although much of my life has revolved around surfing I think those days are mostly over.
