About Me
We’re a proud China forever family, enjoying life in the Pacific Northwest. Being the representative blogger for our family, this is my journal for topics close to my heart. My origin of blogging is inspired by a community authentically sharing themselves with the hope of making the cross a soft place to land. Feel free to peruse my link list to get an idea of what I speak of. When not blogging I’m chasing our twin-teen-sons and preschool daughter’s schedules. I made education and domestic engineering my vocation, prompting the journaling aspect of blogging to be a natural outlet. My link list of dear ones, blog friends and community as described above remind me of an analogy a dear friend made when she likened me to the “Velveteen Rabbit,” ever on quest for real. My favorite line reads, “...when you're real shabbiness doesn't matter.” Like the boy in the book saw past the rabbit’s shabbiness, so does God. "Because of the Lord's great love we're not consumed, for His compassions never fail." Lam 3:22. Comments are warmly welcomed. Blessings, Roxanne Kristina (oxox, Roxx)
