About Me
I am a ne'r-do-well, a wannabe writer, an occasional poet, a lexiphile, and a Romantic-Cynic. (Romantic Cynicism is — that you recognize, explicitly, both the completely material, mundane, genetic, environmental, and generally selfish causes of all human behavior, and humanity's ultimately pointless existence and insignificant end: but thus having been enlightened, you are not obligated to asceticism: rather, by all means revel in whatsoever parts* of the human experience you deem "good", and accept them passionately. *e.g., gourmandery, foppery, trampery, casual sex, serious sex, make-your-friends-gag bird-love, tragic unrequited love, paranormal investigation, scientific investigation, heresy, apostasy, philosophical sedition, rabble-rousing, admiring the French, making fun of the French, urban urchining, desert hermiting, et al. & c. and so on.) The television show Firefly is near and dear to my heart and someday I will find a parallel universe where it was not cancelled.
