Introduction Hi! I'm a mixed-media artist and an Executive Director of a youth center, where I also teach art. I'm married to Martin. We have an adult son and daughter, a yorkie and 2 cats. I strive to live authentically and grow spiritually through creativity. I hope you'll join me!
Interests I like to try new products and tools- I'm a tool junkie! Spirituality is very important to me. I believe we are closest to Creator when we are creating. It is a wonderful way to discover our authentic self. Not who others think we are or even who we think we are supposed to be. But our Velveteen Rabbit Real Self! I've led some women's groups with creative activities parallel to personal/spiritual growth. I plan to do more of these going forward. So, on my blog I will share some of these activities for anyone who might want to participate. I'll also share my art, new supplies, and this and that from my life.
Favorite Movies Gone with the Wind, Pay It Forward, The Godfather, The Notebook, Young Guns, The Birdcage, to name a few.
Favorite Music I love all kinds of music except opera, heavy metal, and rap.
Favorite Books I have WAY too many favorite books to even begin to try to list them. However, one book that would have to be in such a list is The Women's Room by Marilyn French. Also anything by Carolyn Myss.

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.

It's a past life issue. I can't STAND to have anything right up around my neck. I feel like I'm choking and suffocating even if I'm not. So no turtle necks for this woman!
