| Introduction | Echo from the Canyon is a communal blog administrated by the London-based poets Roddy Lumsden and David Floyd. Around 30 poets, of various ages and with various poetic tastes, will offer regular or occasional articles on books of poems. The emphasis is on books which have appeared fairly recently, though writers can offer their thoughts on old favourites. From time to time we will post a poem or two or an account of an event or festival. These are not so much reviews as personal responses and recommendations - we want to hear about books which intrigue and entertain our writers. Our contributors never write about a poet who is a personal friend. Occasionally, a book may get written about twice, which will offer a contrast. Sorry, we do not accept submissions for poetry or articles. |
