Introduction I am a lawyer who is no longer practising law. I now do afforestation and reforestation projects in the Orinoco River basin of Colombia. My passion are tropical trees for investment and CO2 sequestration, as well as their hundreds of uses. On occasion I act as a consultant for firms that want to do business in Latin America, or who are interested in doing conservation projects. I am a member of the IUCN's World Commission on Protected Areas, and I operate a natural reserve I co-founded with my family.
Interests tropical trees, affordable low cost housing, wildlife habitat, carbon sequestration, salsa, diving, cooking
Favorite Movies Star Wars Episodes 4, 5 and 6
Favorite Music Salsa, Musica Llanera, Madonna, Shakira
Favorite Books Dan Simmons books, Gary Jennings books

How many pounds of carbon does the average tropical tree sequester every year?
