Born in the California Bay Area city of Oakland, emerging technologies have always surrounded every aspect of my life. With the California State University of Berkley in my back yard, I began programming in 1970 and the passion for technology took root. With 40+ years of hands-on computer experience, it still amazes my friends, family, and co-workers how much like a kid-in-a-candyshop I can be when new technology hits the internet, tech mags or the store shelves.
