| Introduction | Traditionally a student would finish college and then the following year would enter Medical School. I envy those people and their clarity of vision, somehow they have grasped their youth and directed it toward fulfilling their career path. As apposed to wallowing in uncertainty and post college fog, these individuals did not falter and were consistent in their quest to attain those two shiny letters at the end of their name. I on the other hand was not so direct in embarking on the path to a medical career. It took me quite a few years to gather the necessary undergraduate classes as well as prepare for the MCAT. And even then it took me another three years to enter a doctor of osteopathy school. As I am about to commence my medical studies, After reflecting on all the different carrier paths that I have explored and the wealth of knowledge I was privy to gather. I identified how every business track I have undertaken no matter what the financial success attained, always left me in fear of being confined to a life of a merchant, whose goal was to sell another item, post a profit and find the next best deal. |
