| Introduction | I’m a Northern girl working in London. I dreamed of becoming a writer and travelling the world then at 18 I left home to study Law at University having never spent more than one night away from my family. The world’s a big place and I had to see it so I took a deep breath and never looked back. Well, I looked back plenty, every day for the first year but, I knew if I wanted to travel the world I’d better get over that fast. After uni with no intention of becoming a lawyer I took a job with a legal software company. Risky, the only module I’d hated was computer studies! Amazingly it turned out I had a talent as a closet geek. 17 years later I’m the International Training Manager for a top American law firm and love my job. Out of work I write. I travel, I write about my travel. I spend time with family and friends, I write for/about family and friends...you get the picture…I started this blog to practice my writing and to share the fabulous and not so fabulous that we all have in equal amounts no matter what people would like you to believe on Facebook profiles.
