Introduction As a fifth generation Californian the Sierra Nevada is the biggest inspiration for my paintings. My family came to California with the Gold Rush of 1849. Aspens and Junipers are a favorite subject along with small critters. Lots of road trips with historical barns, big skies and western landscapes give me ideas for canvas.I like to share what captured my eye in the first place and how it evolved into my paintings.
