About Me

I am pastor of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. I am married to the Rev. Claire Pula, Director of the Bereavement Program, Meridian Hospice. We have two children: Benjamin, a musician and recent graduate of Monmouth University, and Ania, a student at Chapman University, in California. My initial diagnosis was B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, diffuse mixed large and small cell. Now, it has transformed to follicular lymphoma. I'm no longer in remission, but my most recent scans report that the disease is stable, with the recommended treatment being "watch and wait."
