| Introduction | I love the quote: I'm nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save anybody. I want to live that quote and this Blog is a tiny way to help me achieve that goal. I have come from the school of hard knocks. Abuse, poverty, homelessness, people's drug abuse problems, abandonment...I've experienced all these and more. I should have been a statistic. I should have been jaded and cynical. I should have been bitter and distrustful...and maybe at one point I was some of those things but the important thing is that I'm not now. My Jesus has restored me and blessed me beyond anything I could have hoped for. I am joyful and hopeful and always trying to think of how to help people - not because I'm super special - I'm not...but because I am incredibly grateful for every single blessing in my life. I can see - so many cannot. I have a loving family now - so many do not. I have food, a home, friends, Jesus, clothes, and hope - so, so many do not. I guess the bottom line about me is living a life of gratitude...and that as they say has made all the difference! |
