| Introduction | I live in Sydney near the beach. Grew up around the beaches. Widow with 2 grown up sons and a Labrador called Lola.Work full time in Administration and would love to retire to concentrate on making quilts, sewing and joining groups which involve charities. I've always sewn, since a little girl with my grandmother teaching me to sew, knit, crochet. My mother and grandmother taught me to sew on a Singer Treadle and now collect them, including my grandmothers which I restored. I have 3 treadles and 2 x 221 2 x 222 plus my trusty Bernina. I have tried my hand at Beading and can whip up a pair of earings or necklace from the beading collection. Don't do much of that at the moment. I love to sit and do most craft and have plenty of projects both big and small on the go and don't like to sit idle. Love gardening, reading and lunch with my girlfriends. |
