| Introduction | SOAR is IUP's substance-free lifestyle organization. We plan activities and programs for students, host parties, and join campus-wide events.
Our programs and activities are open to all IUP students as an alternative way to have a good time- sober. Although some of our programs aim to educate the public about drug and alcohol abuse, many of our activities are purely "just for the fun of it". As a substance-free lifestyle organization we do not look to convince people to adopt our values, but rather seek out people who share them. So take a look at what SOAR is up to lately and feel free to join us at our next event- we'd love to see you there! Oh, and did we mention we have an on-campus residence? Currently located on the second floor of the Suites on Maple East, SOAR is an entire community of people who value a substance-free lifestyle. |
