| Introduction | I am a partner in the Litigation Department of the Atlanta office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Barnes & Thornburg is an Am Law 100 law firm with about 540 professionals with offices in Atlanta, Indianapolis, D.C., Chicago, and other cities. My litigation practice currently focuses on cases involving insurance coverage and bad faith (for policyholders), trade secrets and confidential information, corporate and LLC disputes, and other commercial issues. I also have extensive experience in arbitration and mediation, and am a registered mediator in Georgia. A large part of my practice also involves helping companies with their general business issues, such as equipment sales contracts, terms and conditions and NDAs. Many of my clients are international companies or their U.S. subsidiaries. I graduated from the University of Georgia Law School in 1982. This blog is not affiliated with Barnes & Thornburg LLP, and any posts on this blog are not meant to, and do not necessarily reflect, the opinions of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, its partners, other lawyers or employees. |
| Interests | Law, mediation, technology, golf, outdoor photography |
| Favorite Movies | I am not much of a movie buff, but would have to say Animal House, Caddy Shack, O Brother Where Art Thou, and the Raiders of the Lost Ark series. |
| Favorite Music | 80s. I was in Athens from 1979-1982, so R.E.M. is a favorite (at least some of it). I also like Fleetwood Mac and some of the newer country music. |
| Favorite Books | Many. Some good ones are The Ultimate Sales Machine, The Culture Code, and Final Rounds. |
