| Introduction | I am a proud mother of a very bright and kind-hearted 13 year old girl. I am happily married to my wonderful husband who is an amazingly talented chef. Between working full time at a childcare centre and trying to be a supportive mom to my teenage daughter, it's a bit challenging to keep up with a regular posting on my blog. So I might not be able to blog as often as I could. Good thing is that I don't have to worry about cooking dinner thanks to my husband. I write about things that I did with children at the childcare centre, books or articles I read, and my random thoughts on parenting and early childhood education. I am an early child educator at a leading children's mental health organization in Canada. My strong belief in the importance of children's learning through meaningful play allows me to create environment where children can freely explore and discover. Since the program I am working for serves children of new comers to Canada, I strive to incorporate the aspects of a culturally and liguistically diverse community to the program and learn from the uniquness that each child and family bring to the program.
