I live and garden in a hamlet named "Knapps Station", near Norwood, NY, and about 10 miles from the Canadian Border (South of the St. Lawrence River). We are in Agricultural Zone 4, which means we have 9 months of winter of 3 months of bad sledding. We do cope, however, and I will explain how.
