Introduction Cheryl Washington is a seasoned television veteran with 20+ years of hosting, anchoring, reporting, producing, writing and editing experience at broadcasting outlets including: FOX, CNN, WABC-TV, WCBS-TV and WNBC-TV. Known for her infectious personality as a celebrity and lifestyle interviewer on FOX 5’s “Good Day New York” and host of the “New York Wired” game show, Washington has covered movie premieres, red carpet pre-shows and award ceremonies including the Emmys, Tonys and Grammys. She has also appeared in the movie “It Could Happen To You” as a tv reporter. Washington has also transitioned her multi-faceted communications skills to academia as an adjunct professor in Humanities and Media Production at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey. Always committed to service, Washington is on the Resource Council of Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation; Honorary Chair of the Women’s Fund of New Jersey fall 2006 gala; Journalism Chair of the North Jersey chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and the American Cancer Society in Harlem. Additionally, Washington is a faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Montclair, NJ.
