About Me
I wear many hats including project manager, researcher, educator, consultant and midwife. I am currently consulting with the Charles Darwin University & developing eLearning guidelines for the school of business. Previous to that I was project manager for Aged Care Queensland, Brisbane, where I am managing the implementation of an e-mentoring scheme, and Senior Lecturer in Midwifery at Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin, New Zealand. I am lead educator on the Second Life Education New Zealand project. I am also enrolled as a PhD candidate at the Centre for Online Health, University of Queensland, Brisbane. I have always been interested in support and professional development for health professionals. My PhD project is comparing traditional support and professional development to e-mentoring (mentoring provided by email) as experienced by aged care nurses and allied health professionals in Queensland, Au. I am available for hiring as project manager and consultant on eLearning and social media. Last modified: 25/9/09
