I've written more than 15 books about beading, including Hip to Bead and Katie's Basics of Beading. I also present Beading Lessons on each episode of the PBS show Beads, Baubles & Jewels and I teach workshops at national conventions like the Bead & Button Show. I'm a crafty girl and a hip mama, a world traveler and a bookworm. If I had to choose between chocolate cake and carrot cake, the carrot cake would win hands down.
