Introduction Dr Paul Mountfort (PhD English, University of Auckland) is the Chair for AUT University's Centre for Creative Writing. His research interests include popular genres and transmedia storytelling. He is the author of two full-length books on the uses of ancient alphabets in letters, art and imagination, published in the UK and US and translated into two European languages.
Interests Britain, the US, and translated into Czech.
Favorite Movies Hayao Miyazaki's anime opus; any cyberpunk future noir (like Blade Runner); classic Kubrick, Fellini, Bergman and Hitchcock movies; Polanski and Passolini; and popcorn trash when my brain hurts.
