| Introduction | In 2005, I received a 35mm Canon SLR camera as a gift, and made many feeble attempts at shooting flowers and landscapes... In 2006, after a session on black and white film with my infant niece, I finally realized that I was better at photographing people than I had ever been at taking shots of the scenery. After an upgrade to digital in 2007, I didn't have to worry about the cost of buying and developing film, and I started shooting (and learning)quite a bit more. I don't have a studio or a lighting setup, and prefer to shoot using available lighting - especially outside. My favorite subjects are people, but I'd like to get better at nature photography and shooting in low light situations...and you should see my wish list of photography equipment, I have a champagne hobby on a beer budget! But, a girl can dream, right? Its a lot of fun creating these images, I hope you have fun viewing them, too! |
