| Introduction | The purpose of this blog is to engage with the theatre that is out there; good and bad alike. I am interested in theatre as a lens: a lens through which propositions about reality can be seen. I am interested in theatre as a place of alternative truth: truth in language, in movement, in shared experience. I am interested in theatre as negotiation: between perception and imagination; between what is obvious and what is hidden, between what is forgotten and what is remembered. Most of all, I am interested in theatre as an ephemeral space: it happens before our eyes and then it is gone. |
