About Me
Please don't call me an Asian Martha Stewart because I'm anything but. Martha seems to have a perfectionist, anal-retentive gene, that I thankfully lack. I've had many mishaps and foibles in my years of crafting and cooking (especially doing Chinese--so deceptively easy!) so you'll probably experience some of those with me. I've been inspired by the old Hong Kong aesthetic, the beauty of Maggie Cheung's qi paos and beaten, weathered moon cake tins. I once tried to match my apartment pallette to the interiors of Wong Kar Wai's 2046, before I realized it looks a lot better when you have a fancy camera. I'm all about just having fun, being creative and thrifty, and just jumping in and trying something for the first time.
