| Introduction | Bred in the streets of Memphis, Tennessee, No Soda is bringing authenticity back to street music. His moniker suggests he is 'what the streets want' in its purest form. With a catalogue of anthems made especially for southern-style club hoppers and those with 'bump in the trunk', No Soda is well on the way to establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the booming southern hip-hop genre. The back story doesn't differ much. Starting out in a rap group with childhood friends, running into creative differences and bad business dealings, group is dissolved, No Soda lands on his feet as a solo artist. Equipped with the swagger and confidence of a rap industry vet, No Soda has capitalized on the indie movement and made a name for himself . He's released 9 music videos, and developed a massive promotion campaign with a number of models, DJs, photographers and other Memphis artists. He recently released his new mixtape "2 and a Quarter" hosted by Memphis DJ Lil Larry of the Aphilliates and is soon to drop 2 follow-up mixtapes: "Strait Drop" and "Next N*gga Upcoming". |
