| Introduction | My name is Dave Hecht and I am a Public Affairs Officer in the United States Navy. I'm currently serving in Afghanistan with NATO Forces out of Kabul. I'm married to my best friend and we have two of the greatest kids on Earth. It's going to be a long 10-months away from the people I love the most, but I'm getting a chance to serve my country while seeing history from the front lines.
