I am a pastor in the United Methodist Church, currently appointed to school as I pursue a Th.D. at Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC. I started blogging as a supplement to a column I write in the United Methodist Reporter, but I have found a great deal of pleasure in blogging for blogging's sake. I am deeply interested in issues related to Wesley & Methodism, reclaiming a sense of intentional Christian identity, connections with the Iglesia Metodista del Peru, preaching, teaching, writing, and reading omnivorously.
