About Me
I've been working as a journalist since 1980, and was formerly a staff writer for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and Honolulu Advertiser, and a stringer for Reuters. My award-winning articles have been published in many local, regional and national newspapers and magazines, and I'm a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors. I also write creative non-fiction and fiction. I've been living on Kauai, the northernmost island of the most isolated inhabited land mass on Earth, since 1987.
