Introduction | I am a "mid-level" career woman who is currently unemployed...well, attempting to conduct work on a freelance basis...finding myself having to give up the finest of luxuries when it comes to product. I am a product whore. This blog is an effort for me to spend my new found time wisely writing about something I enjoy, while finding affordable products that work to replace the ones I can't afford anymore. Boo hoo! |
Interests | This could get long. I have so many! I refer to myself a lot as the "catch all drawer" because I seriously have interests in so many things! I'm a producer for a video production house so I love being the boss or the go-to person on set. I also do graphic design for my company as well. Very interested in the arts, design, LOVE architecture!!! I also like to learn about other cultures and would love to travel and see the world one day. I guess I should hurry that up! |
Favorite Movies | Being a producer, this category is so hard for me, you'd think it would be easy. Favorite movies...hmmm...movies effect me so much. They're almost like dreams, they seem so real to me and stories fall close to my heart so I always make a connection when I watch a movie. It's why I steer clear of horror flicks. I'll be sleeping with my light on for a few days. I'm a sucker for comedy and things that make me laugh...Old School, Legally Blonde...and feel good movies. I surround myself with nothing but positive. |
Favorite Music | Ugh, same thing with me for movies. I'm also somewhat a musician so this categary is extremely hard. Lately I've been checking out the following: Management, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Editors, Bat for Lashes. Some staples in my listening habits are: Portishead, Kylie Minogue, Blue October, old school George Strait, etc.... there's too many! |
Favorite Books | The Shack by William P. Young, Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, Straight Up and Dirty by Stephanie Klein |
