Introduction I played in a local band named the Hazy Shades, entered local competition - On the Go Show. Won the novice section and best vocalist overall award. I decided to further my singing career. I went to Johannesburg to Gallo studios where I teamed up with well known producer and singer Billy Forest. Recorded a seven single with Billy called Turn Around which went to number one on the LM charts. In 1972 I joined Impi (the Bats) worked with them for two years. I made various singles with producers like Mut Lange (One More Night) and Chris Kritzinger and country music singles (Tonight She Went Crazy), (Bon-A-Lee-Bon-A-Laa), (My Baby's Gone & Said Goodbye). I returned to Port Elizabeth and played in a local band, still recording and did a love songs CD entitled Just For You . In 1984 I recorded a gospel CD with Chris Kritzinger entitled He Believes in Me. In 1986 I became a born again Christian and started my gospel singing career. I then teamed up with Manie Steyn a local business man in Port Elizabeth & did three gospel CD's with him. Recently I joined forces with Paul Mattison and Glynn Storm and produced my CD - Back to the Cross at Matti's Rag Studios in Johannesburg.
