A Brief History...

About Me

I grew up in MI with an arsenal of crayons, paints and chalk. In my school years, I took every art class available. After high school, I took a few art classes at a local community college but quit for a full time job at a automotive drafting company where I spent too much time practicing lettering with a device called a slot guide. My boss eventually discovered I could draw and my career as a technical illustrator began. I worked for a few different companies over 10 years, illustrating car parts, drawing custom birthday cards for fellow employees and eventually learned computer design after the in-house graphic designer quit and I begged for the position. I married my longtime sweetheart of 9 years and after a few more, we moved to California. I was hired into a small design company where I learned all about graphic design. After 3 fun years, the owners decided to close the business to raise children. Solo, I eventually accumulated some clients on my own. Hope you enjoy my work!
