Introduction Ron is an engineer, inventor, entrepreneur and co founder of four tech companies who has received eleven patents and been awarded an Academy Award. He was a member of the team that developed the first commercial laser, the first holographic identification concept, the first laser printing system for newspapers, the first rigid rotor for drone type Helicopters and the first to demonstrate the concept of supersonic combustion. Ron invented and developed the first electronic visual random access editing system for film and television which was first used by Stanley Kubrick in ‘Full Metal Jacket’ and Glen Larson in the sitcom ‘Half Nelson’ at Fox Studios. Ron has 17 theatrical, movie and TV acting credits, designed and built custom furniture for Kareem Abdul Jabbar and James Cameron, published the first duplicated hologram, prevailed over George Lucas’s Edit Droid, advanced the concept of electronic film production with Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Spielberg, represented the US State Department for Electro Optics in Europe and lived off grid for three years on a remote tropical island.
